Click save and then when you load your guy back up you can redistribute all your points. The easiest, working way, to redistribute skill points with the editor is for you to tally up the total skill points you should have, click the button to set all skills to zero and put that total number of skillpoints figure in the Skill Points Remaining box. Be sure under the options tab to set Error Reporting to the second radio button "Ignore Most Errors (for some hex editing - beware)" but not the similar "Ignore Most Errors, Don't update CheckSum, Filesize".One example of certain things not quite working are changes to some skills work while others are ignored. with the latter you can sortof edit your current characters. I havent personally used many in my time, having played on closed, but I think google will have some good choices. Make sure you get one that is up to date. If you have updated versions of the games some editors behave differently or may not work at all. What kind of works is a mixture of the D2 v1.10 item warehouse savegames (lvl99 characters of every type with all areas open, max money and all skill/stat points unspent as well as a ton of mules with all the best uniques): also the Zonefire's Hero Editor which can be found here: the former you can test out all sorts of builds and items. Hero Editor is a program used to create custom characters offline for testing purposes or just to make a godlike killing machine. Be aware using old character editors, though.
